Just to Start, Here's Some Poems

Wasting Time

Pen clicks
Clock ticks
The less you say
The more you miss

Grapes!

Wild grapes are often sour
Do not eat them in the shower
Or at any other time
Look at that another rhyme
Food

I like food.
Food is good.
Food feeds me,
Like food should.
Empty

Empty person broke in half
More shocking is the aftermath
Walked around, an open case
A shallow man without a face

Snow

Snowflakes falling, tumbling down,
Catching nose and eyes
One flutters to the lips, the tongue
A smile starts to rise
Spin around, little one
Feel the winter’s dew
Angels dance upon the ground
The world appears brand new

Creative mind
I spook my psyche with my impulsions.
Beware! I might snap free!
Let the spiders through my ears.
Their legs become the key.
They spring the lock without a knock
And hatch themselves a grin.
Their evil sneers then turn the gears.
The spirit wakes within.
Is this the door long awaited for,
The one that’s now ajar?
Does one suppose it should stay closed,
Shut and sealed with tar?
I do ponder what is yonder
Held within that room.
Will it lead to a great deed,
Or lead me to a tomb?
With a flick of the switch the spiders ditch,
And leave the hole they entered.
They abandon their home for somewhere to roam,
Like a landlord released by a renter.

Haiku 1
This is a haiku
I hope you like it a lot
I don’t think I do

Sucky Haiku
Who is that person?
It is not a he or she
It is a being

Horrible
Horrible haikus
Are easy for me to write
It’s just syllables
